Oppa Bbq Flavors - Mariveles

The food is decent, but they open late. The posted opening time is 3 PM, but when I arrived at 3:30 PM, they were still closed. After finally opening, we had to wait another 30 minutes to be seated because they claimed they needed more time to prepare. So, it seems their official opening time is really 4 PM? I suggest they update the posted opening hours. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly. This has happened twice; the first time I was able to wait, but on my second visit today, we were just too impatient. Overall, I would give it 3 stars.

This was our first time visiting Oppa BBQ Flavors, and I can only say that the food and service were superb. The staff were incredibly friendly, and you don’t even have to ask for refills; they come to you and offer them with a smile. Thank you, Oppa BBQ Flavors! We were extremely satisfied and stuffed. I just wish I had tried the sweet potato sooner; it was delicious!

The staff’s dedication to ensuring we had everything we needed was commendable. They didn’t hesitate to ask if we wanted refills on our side dishes, making us feel valued rather than like we were imposing. Their genuine smiles really added to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Although I'm not in a position to leave a larger tip, I truly believe they deserve it for their hard work. The restaurant is air-conditioned, which is a plus, making it comfortable to enjoy meals like kimchi without breaking a sweat. The warm and accommodating nature of the staff was definitely a highlight of my visit, alongside the delicious food. I’m eager to return and hope the high level of service and attention to detail remains consistent. The team deserves recognition and, ideally, a bigger clientele. One area for improvement would be the venue itself—an upgrade to a larger space would allow for more guests to join in the experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to hear my favorite Korean songs, especially the "Descendants of the Sun" OST!

That said, I did find the space a bit tight, and it can get somewhat noisy when the place is packed, as voices tend to overlap. I hope they consider expanding in the future. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience. A cozy atmosphere combined with some pop music or an exciting movie playing would definitely elevate the vibe!
