We tried Chicken Veg and Beef Broccoli and asked them to have Picky. They had hardly any spices and no taste. The beef dish had only a few broccoli pieces and a lot of carrot onions, it almost looked identical to the chicken dish. Each other hakka restaurant gives you a plate full of Broccoli in this dish. The restaurants stink of Stale Fett, which I guess is from the carpet, which is not ideal for a restaurant at all and it was pretty rough. The walls need a paint job, they look terrible to be so swollen, I'd be embarrassed if that were my walls. You really need to refresh this restaurant. I do not recommend this place, it tastes more like a Chinese restaurant not a hakka restaurant.
My wife I will hakka experts (our taste buds are happy with this new life goal) although as soon as you come to the better end of the hakka restaurants, everything begins to taste the same, Golden China Hakka is characterized by the portion size and a price. We tried the General Tso Chicken, which was a bit more ginger than other stains, but still delicious. The hakka Chow my noodles were a bit mild for our pleasure, but the crowd had filled us and a small hot sauce they have tricked. The owner, who also the cashier and the cook is a great guy (not getting his name) and we are all for spending our money in local businesses compared to a chain of restaurants when the quality taste is right. We will be back to try out other options!
A real jewel of a place! Good service and good food. Loves the chicken pasta, Manchurian beef and the Singapore noodles.
Yeah, that's a hole in the wall. They do not come here to make the ambience or average of under-average service. Food is good and affordable. Only the right taste and portions you would expect for the price. The service was fast, but there were only 2 more tables. The restaurant is not very big and it looks like they do a lot of takeout when we saw that many people come to pick up their orders.
I recently revisited this restaurant and found that not much has changed. The food is still good, but there seems to be a high turnover rate among the wait staff. I noticed many people getting takeout during my previous visits, so I decided to try it myself since I have young children who can't sit still for long. I called ahead and was told my order would be ready in 40 minutes, but when I arrived, it wasn't prepared. The staff claimed their system was down and I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Despite this experience, I attempted takeout again with the same result. I suggested to the manager that they inform customers they don't take orders over the phone, but received the same excuse about their system being down. I won't be returning, unless I happen to be in the area for something else.
