The pork is flavorful and when you spoon it into the pastry, it creates a small bun that you can hold and enjoy. It's one of my favorite things to eat here.
The Xiao Long Bao, my favorite dish, looked nothing like the traditional steamed soup dumplings I was expecting. The Man Tou resembled long guotei dumplings instead. The stewed pig bone, a signature dish in Shanghainese cuisine, was a mess on the plate with the bone loose and the pork skin wrapped awkwardly around the meat. The presentation of the food was so poor that I was surprised the chef allowed such subpar dishes to leave the kitchen. While the taste was alright, I cannot overlook the lack of care in the cooking and presentation. I will not be returning, especially if there is a new cook. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos to show how disappointing the dishes looked; words cannot adequately convey the disappointment.
Wow, this restaurant is a hidden gem! We tried the steamed pork dumplings, hand-torn chicken, duck, soup, and fried rice and they were all absolutely delicious.
The food is mediocre: the siu long bao skin was too thick, they have only the dark brown vinegar for it (don't have the pink option,) everything else we
My favourite Shanghai restaurant for a decent price!__This is a family based restaurant, where the wife makes the mantou (bread) and many of the dumplings
