Feedback gevenThe service was average at best. I had to signal for attention from the staff. When I tried to pay, I was stopped by the server who complained that my tip was insufficient and refused to let me leave until I gave more. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
We tried this place because we were too lazy to go downtown Toronto to our favourite Korean Fried Chicken Place and to be Honest it was quite Decent! Their side sauces were not the greatest and didn’t offer the traditional Korean Sauce which you would expect with Fried Chicken However over all a great experience!
I have not been here for sometime and was surprised that they changed the menu. There are more non spicy food choices. My all time favourites are the blazing chicken and the spicy noodles. The chicken with green onion is great too. Too bad they don't add boiled egg in the fish cakes soup. And no more salad, only radishes.
Haven't been here in a few years, so it was nice to see they changed their business around to make it more like a bar and attract more drinking crowds, but on the downside their food quality seriously went down while prices went high up for people just looking for a quick meal. For the prices I was paying, food quality was seriously low. It was nice to try out again but I don't think I'll be returning. So many other options elsewhere.
For Korean bar /fast food, this place is busy with quick turnaround. I would say it's good value as well. Each $19 plate is sizzling hot, boneless-skinless, diced, and sizeable enough for 2-4 to share with sides of udon, fried rice or fat noodles. Pictures show spicy levels: 1 (e.g. chicken with cheese), 2-blazing and 3-teary. I tried the spiciest dish and didn't find it too scary, though the kids didn't finish their less spicy orders. Everything is cooked on a BBQ grill; the Teary Chicken has a nice smoky flavour. For fried chicken lovers, boneless breaded chicken platters (not at all spicy) are served topped with a choice of white or green onion--heartier than Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Next time, because I don't prefer skin I would also order the spicy BBQ drumsticks to share... The ambience isn't nice but the service is good for people on a time limit. Finish the meal at Cups cafe for bubble tea across the parking lot, perfect for sit-down dessert.
