The Sichuan beef served on rice and the beef tongue on noodles were both incredibly tasty, and the meal even included tea, soup, and a drink. The total cost for two people, including tax and tip, was only $18. While the food may not be gourmet, it is hearty and healthy. I will definitely be returning. The value for the price earns this restaurant 5 stars, otherwise it would be a 4-star rating.
This restaurant used to offer generous portions at affordable prices. However, after undergoing a renovation, the portion sizes have decreased and prices have increased. For example, a bowl of noodle soup now costs $7.99, making it no longer a budget-friendly option. The lunch specials, priced in the $8-10 range, come with small portions, prompting diners to seek out other options for inexpensive Chinese cuisine. The staff also appears to be new, leading to speculation that the restaurant may have changed ownership. Unfortunately, these changes have led some customers to prefer Ming's, a nearby restaurant that offers better variety, prices, and larger portions, just a 5-minute drive away.
The restaurant is situated in the furthest corner of a bustling supermarket shopping area. It serves a variety of Hong Kong-style Western dishes along with Chinese stir-fry options. We visited for breakfast and brunch, enjoying dishes such as pork chops on a sizzling hot plate, an egg sandwich, French toast, and milk tea. I particularly enjoyed the French toast, which was generously filled and almost two inches thick! While the restaurant may not stand out from the main street, it is consistently crowded during peak hours, indicating a loyal customer base. We visited three mornings during our time in Toronto.
It's a very small cafe in the same plaza as TNT supermarket We went there to eat breakfast and I like their breakfast special .
Good baked rices that come in combos with milk tea. Very small resto, not many seats._Solid option for HK style cafe, not an overwhelming selection of options.
