SUSHI-Q - Markham

I tried Ramen for the first time, but the soup had no flavor and the Japanese egg was completely overcooked. We won't be coming back.

A favorite sushi spot from me. In the upscale new food court of the magnificent Markville Mall in Markham, Ontario. But the freshest sushi I've ever had. Very delicious! Casual still fun! Come and enjoy! Tip pop up 2 hours before closing and get some...big specials on taking sushi, which is 110% fresh!

Food Court Sushi may not be top-of-the-line, but it offers a wide selection of prepared choices for a quick meal. I have dined here several times and have never been disappointed. The soup is delicious and the shop is clean. You can tell that the sushi is carefully prepared, as is expected when handling raw fish. The dishes are always clean and there are plenty of seating options available. It seems that school children frequent the food court after hours, so it may be best to come early for a quieter dining experience. Overall, a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.

The miso soup was lacking tofu and seaweed, but the broth itself was very good. The unagi was delicious, and make sure to request extra ginger.

SUSHI-Q at Markville Mall is our go-to spot for inexpensive sushi on the run. The end-of-the-day specials make eating healthy an inexpensive alternative to grabbing a burger, and the maki rolls are always fresh and tasty! To top it off, the service is always super-friendly,...and there's no waiting for your meal. Great food for busy people on the go!
