Feedback gevenRUDE, DISGRACEFUL, INDIFFERENT, OFFENSIVE(To be clear, 1 star is to get this review posted)Been shopping here for almost a year now because it’s close to home The staff has never been friendly or polite in general. But today, they just brought it to another level. During check out, my wife was giving her PC optimum card to scan so that member specific discounted pricing may appear immediately after each scan. This way computer glitch or mistake can be spotted and rectified right away. But the cashier (named Aleo?, black completion, young aged woman) refused blankly. Well, that’s a first, from our experience, optimum card maybe scanned at anytime during checkout at all PC stores. So my wife asked her why. She replied “I just don’t wanna do it. You can check the prices on your receipt.” My wife was baffled and lost for words. Before paying I asked her again why she wouldn’t scan the card earlier. Her reply was “I did feel like doing it.” in a very affirmative tone. This was when I requested to speak to the manager. Then she walked away from the cashier. Her colleague had to call the manager. Acting manager, Orlando arrived 5 minutes later and told me owner/manager Shawn was away and won’t return until next week. I told Orlando what had happened. He shrugged his shoulder and just told me to wait for Shawn’s call back. I asked for the cashier’s name, “Aleo” and he claimed he didn’t know the spelling. While this was happening, Aleo was constantly yapping nearby. I got really upset and threatened to expose this incident on social media. She heard and got aggressive and trying to grab my cell phone away from me. Her hand was literally on my phone. Orlando stopped her and asked her to be quiet, but the yapping continued. This was pretty much what transpired. Already filed a formal complaint to the head office. Will update here after they get back to me. It is clear Aleo has an attitude problem and does not care about her job whatsoever. Or maybe she is used to treating customers like such and nothing had happened. Cashiers with this kind of service behaviour should have no place anywhere serving customers. It also makes me question the management and training abilities of this particular No Frills store. I can speculate and elaborate more, but I will leave it to the viewers to judge. If you don’t mind driving 1 additional km, visit Food Basics up the road. And if you are finding a lane to be cashed out at this No Frills, steer clear from this woman. You will be doing yourself a huge favour.
Horrible place.Rashpal have no manners what so ever. She should quit and learn how to be a little nicer
Went to self check out and the staff was questioning about my items were not scanned.She found out she made a mistake but did not apologize , walked away to another cashier and talked about me.
I like this location. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Organized. Fast paced.
If I could give them -5, I would. They had nothing in stock. Empty shelves, none of the sales items available, bread products that expired almost a week ago. Terrible, Terrible experience
