Over Easy Kitchen - Marlboro

I've been visiting this restaurant for a couple of years now, and to be honest, the quality of the service and food can be inconsistent. They offer some fantastic dishes, but occasionally they can be underseasoned or a bit greasy. The drinks are all wonderful, but if you order anything with ice, you'll likely end up with just half of what you should receive. Despite these issues, I keep returning because I feel there just aren't enough great brunch options in the area.

This review is not about over easy per se but about one of the managers named Amanda. My son had a very unpleasant experience when he was looking for a summer job. Amanda has interviewed him and told him that she was hiring him starting from July 14th and would send him the schedule before he starts. Interestingly enough, today is July 22nd and he has not heard from her except a text saying that she was getting back to work on the 18th after covid. Nothing since then. She doesn't pick up the phone and does not respond to texts. This is very discouraging for a 17-year-old. It is also a very weird and indecent business practice. Needless to say, I am not setting foot in that place ever again.

At first the pricey breakfast dishes made me feel like there was no real reason for it to be so busy in here, however after the first bite of my blt I understood why this place was so popular. Super nice environment, not overly loud yet busy. GREAT food.

We recently dined at Over Easy for breakfast/brunch and had a wonderful experience. The menu featured a great selection of options, providing a nice variety. The decor is charming and inviting, contributing to a lovely atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. We especially loved our iced coffees, along with the toast, omelettes, and pancakes. Overall, Over Easy is an excellent choice for a satisfying breakfast or brunch.

Their menu is unique and the food is always good. The staff is friendly and attentive. It’s a relaxed atmosphere even when it’s crowded and it’s family friendly. It get crowded and they don’t take reservations for small parties so be patient. It’s worth it.
