An Nam Vietnamese Grill - Marlborough

My daughter and I were in the area for a figure skating camp and found this gem on a Google search. I had the colorful and aromatic street tacos and shared the spring rolls with my daughter. She had the noodle salad with spicy shrimp. We splurged and both had the brown sugar milk tea with boba. The tacos were wonderful. They restored my faith in finding authentic Vietnamese food outside of the country. My daughter savored her salad and the shrimp never stood a chance at being leftover. The spring rolls were among the best I’ve ever had. We ordered and paid for the food at a counter and it was prepared quickly and served with a smile. The people were kind and seemed to enjoy being there and serving authentic Vietnamese food. I highly recommend you visit if you find yourself in the area…

Fast and Good Service. The bubble tea was good! I was disappointed by the rice noodle bowl with tofu. Not requesting the vegetarian sauce was my mistake, but there was some noticeable cross contamination with the tofu and what I’m pretty sure was beef. Also, the noodles were very oily, which is not something I’ve seen with Vietnamese food before. I’ve only been once, so maybe I caught them on an off day.

I was a little afraid to try it out this restaurant at first BUT it was sooooooo good I ate there and reorder to take home... soup is very good and plenty, “pasta” was good too and the sandwich was just perfect... the place is small but don’t get fooled by its appearance.... it’s just great food served there.

I had to update my previous review. Got dinner here the other night on short notice. It was 10 minutes to close and I was worried kitchen would be shut down by that time, but Minh and team served up delicious rice bowls and noodle salads! Thanks for a yummy dinner. Well done!

I wasn't familiar with Vietnamese cuisine, so I had no idea what to expect. Living less than a mile from the restaurant, I was already teased by the enticing aroma of my meal in the takeout bag on the way home, which assured me that I would be pleased. I ordered the summer rolls and the teriyaki beef rice bowl. The summer rolls were light and refreshing, packed with the vibrant flavors of mint and cilantro, complemented by a tangy peanut sauce. I was impressed, but I was even more delighted when I discovered that my main dish was even better than the appetizer. The tender beef topped with scallions, served over rice with mixed greens and pickled carrots, along with the house chili fish sauce, was flavorful and intricate with just the right amount of heat. It was a thoroughly satisfying meal with wonderful flavors and generous portions. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. If you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, you must visit this restaurant. And if you’ve never tried it before, you absolutely have to go!
