Marmari Bay

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly&helpful, the room was clean and nice and the view from the balcony gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was mostly very tasty, only the coffee and the fruit could have been better. Unfortunately the kitchenette was missing some utilities like a sharp cutting knife, tea towel, toaster, but it was possible to cook pasta and make simple salad. All of us felt safe&welcomed and it was a good place to stay with the whole family; from great-grandma to a young child.

We were received very hospitably. Beautiful location, although it is quite a climb if you want to walk from the center to the hotel. Unfortunately, only mid-October can be expected for us, a very quiet period, even though it also has advantages. We got a nice apartment, while we expected a room with a beautiful view of the pool and sea. The bed is large and sleeps well. We are used to 2 x 1 person. Only a double sheet/blanket is a little less for us. The family is very hospitable and makes time for a chat. They are helpful and recommend nice restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant is closed for dinner. But understandable with us almost as the only guests. The rooms are clean. There are even 2 smart TVs. We do find the rooms somewhat impractical and somewhat narrowly furnished. For more than 2 people (a family) it seems a bit tight to me. If we were to go again, I think the end of September would be a bit more pleasant on this island. Nowadays a lot is closed and there is little choice in terms of food in Marmaris.

Because we are here in a quieter time, this hotel is now very quiet. We certainly don't experience that as annoying. The rooms are well maintained and the service in this family hotel is great. We experience the owners as driven people with a love for their work and customers. You don't come across that often anymore. A small downside for us is that the hotel is located quite high, but that really has to do with our condition. We rented a car through the hotel, and the hotel is a good base for beautiful trips around the island.

We organized our wedding at this particular hotel. Everything went smoothly, the pool area was excellent, the food was excellent and the guests who stayed at the hotel were all happy. Giorgio and Gia Franco helped us with everything. We highly recommend it. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
