Yabbi's On The Esplanade - MAROOCHYDORE

Group of 4 dined at Yabbis. Prices are getting up there but don't mind that if food is good. I had Barramundi which was great. My wife and friend had pork belly which wasn't so great. No Jus or gravey at all and a lick of apple sauce painted onto plate meant that thel meat was dry and very salty. Both only ate about half of there small portions. A little jug of gravey and more than half a teaspoon of apple sauce would have made all the difference to the dish and cost next to nothing. Other person in our group had chowder entree as a main and they were happy with that.

We recently dined at Yabbi's to celebrate our son's 21st. We had a lovely night. All the meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. The calamari was to die for! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We thought it was a nice touch having local artists work displayed on the walls. We will definitely be dining there again when we are back on the Sunshine Coast!

Had the most beautiful meal for four.Starters the sharing plate we all really enjoyed ,mushrooms,pate froth,calamari ,pork.excellant.Main meal 2chicken both outstanding .2 steak very good.The sweets were amazing .so overall ten out of ten .For service and food you could not falt .Will be going back for more.

My husband and I came her this last weekend. The food was amazing and the atmosphere never disappoints. We will be back many more times to come! Look forward to the new menu coming in this month.
