The best cake ever! We ordered a Koala cake, they were very accommodating accepting our koala pictures of what we wanted the cake to look like. The cake was a huge hit at my nephews 1st birthday party, it fed over 40 people everyone loved how soft fluffy the cake was. Soooooooooo delicious!!!

Thanks so much the cheese cake shop maroubra for my two boys cakes green dinosaur inspired cakes and for my daughters unicorn cake. All three cakes looked amazing and tasted amazing. Fantastic customer service and so helpful. Thanks a million I really appreciate all your hard work to design and make all three cakes.

This is the worst cake I've ever eaten. Everything's artificial and powdery. There can't possibly be any cheese in this, not even cream.

Ordered a whole black forest cake on the 14th September, to be delivered following day 15th. Delivery guy was nice and handed the delivery with a smile. As I was slicing through the cake, I noticed straight away that it was kind of dry. Or should I say literally DRY. I knew it was an old stock already, I know how food and cakes should be thats my job. Its not like its my first ever to have a black forest from Cheesecake shop. And The Cheesecake shop (at Carlton and Stanhope Gardens) are both my go to shops everytime, but im really disappointed with this one at Maroubra branch. Anyway, I checked the box for the Best Before date, it says 25th Sep 2020. Its like more than a week window for freshness. But given how dry it was, I would say USE BY the 15th, which is the same day as the delivery. And then as I was not really satisfied with it, I thoroughly checked the box and the dates, just to realise that the Best Before sticker was already tampered and replaced (check photos). You can tell straight away that they REMOVED THE OLD BEST BEFORE STICKER as there was visible sticker residue, and REPLACED WITH A NEW STICKER WITH A LONGER EXPIRY. If only this cake was cheap like the ones at woolies, but no, it came $3 more expensive than my usual The Cheesecake shop branch plus $15 delivery, then I would not bother typing this review. Anyway, I just took 1 slice, and left the cake in the fridge for 2 days and checked it on the 17th just to prove it was an old effin stock. And yes, it was indeed an old stock, cream was yellowish, sponge got more drier given it was supposed to be fresh least between the 20th to the 25th. So i just chucked it. Waste of money. I just cant believe businesses like these are still up, I know its tough times. But not to a point were you fvck with people by giving them sh*t products. Cmon guys, the customer gave the 100% money you asked, for a good product. At least give it to them 90% or more. The ones I got was like 90% **** and 10% for the beautiful green box.
