Hudson's Classic Grill - Marquette

There were many available tables at Hudsons in Marquette. However, when we asked to sit at a clean table, we were told we couldn't unless we had a party of four or more. The bartender found this rule ridiculous and seated us anyway, much to the manager's displeasure who then asked us to leave. It was a strange and frustrating experience.

The manager refused to honor a valid coupon that they themselves issued. This reflects poor management practices. It is not acceptable for a restaurant to distribute discount coupons that they are unwilling to honor.

When you're looking for a great little spot with diners and drive-ins vibes, rock and roll music, and delicious milkshakes, this is the place to be! The decor is fun, the staff is friendly, and the music is good. The sunrise burger was exceptional, the fries were well-made, and not greasy, and the nacho appetizer was enough for a meal. Overall, the classic comfort food was deliciously prepared.

My wife took me to this restaurant yesterday evening for the first time. She had been here before and recommended it to me. I was extremely impressed with the overall experience. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food and service were excellent. I tried the crumble for the first time and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend the reserve ribs and suggest pairing them with their delicious malt milkshakes!

The Philly cheesesteak had too much black pepper, which overpowered the flavor and did not taste good. The perch was also not a good choice. I was very disappointed with the taste of the food and the weak cocktails. Thankfully, the service and location were great. I hope the food improves, but I'm not sure if I would take the risk again. On the bright side, the grilled cheese for children tasted good.
