Illi Hill - Marrickville

It seems that Sydney's favourite restaurant meal is rapidly becoming breakfast, preferably served with great coffee. The lucky locals of Marrickville have a stunning example of one of Sydney's best cafes right on their doorstep. Great coffee, sublime food and friendly service. The secret is getting out. It was even quite busy on my late Monday morning visit

Stumbled across this little eatery today. Great menu, could have eaten everything on it but settled for the Chicken sandwich and the Triple cheeseburger. Both very tasty and satisfying. Lovely staff and atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable find.

Situated in a little bit of suburbic tranquility is a thriving eatery that by all accounts, is full of people who have traveled to be there. The food is healthy and fresh tasting. And it promises to be local (where ever possible ). The service is a little bit like family and they will do whatever they can to adapt to dietary needs. This is the kind of place that you can leave feeling like you're better for having eaten there. The food is wonderful. Well presented without going over the top .. and frankly in keeping with the whole style of French-esque corner shop. Classy in an understated way. Make the effort .. i think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Great coffee and service here. There's a good variety of meals that are made with fresh, in season produce and they taste great. We love going here for breakfast and my daughter loves the smoothies and milkshakes.
