Kelby's Cafe - Marrickville

I literally just wrote 4 or 5 draft reviews for this place then deleted them because I didn't think they spoke highly enough. I'm just going to keep this one simple. Food: amazing. Service: Amazing Coffee: Amazing. Go there. You will see.

Amazing food, beautifully presented. Fast service & inviting atmosphere would definitely go there again. Can't go wrong with any of the dishes.

This cute little cafe is located on Marrickville Road. Make sure to check out the awesome looking mural on the side of the cafe and get some selfies with it! The inside of the cafe seems homely and familiar even if you haven't been here. The service was top notch and very hospitable. The menu will have something for everyone and the bonus is that they have an all day breakfast menu so even if you wake up late on a weekend you won't miss out on getting your fav breakfast items! We visited here as a group and thus allowing us to enjoy a variety of dishes. We had the Egyptian Breakfast, Eggs Benedict With Bacon, Warm French Toast With Bacon And Caramelized Banana, Braht Bruschetta, Springish, and their weekly special of Kelby's Hash. Everyone's pick was the hash. It came with all the good things like fried chat potatoes, sujuh sausage, haloumi, poached eggs and their wonderful hollandaise. The french toast was also sumptious covered with maple syrup and served with toffee like bananas and bacon. Of course bacon makes everything better and featured on many of our dishes. The benedict was also a twist on the usual as it is served on a fluffy croissant. If you haven't been here, definitely stop by and try them out. I'm sure it'll be your neighbourhood favourite.

Food was good but it took way too long to arrive. We won't be back which is a shame. It wasn't so busy either so the wait was really unacceptable.
