Ingenious food that if you’re are looking for for only a delicious meal but not an inspiring meal you might not be in the right place The cuisine is just phenomenal
Already there is this large photo of Michael Jordan which welcomes us when we enter the premises and we tell ourselves that we are at the right address. It would be simple to draw an analogy between the cooking of Alexandre Mazzia and the game of the best to have graced the courts. The hake burnt with satay, raspberry and harissa is the dunk on Patrick Ewing in 91, a slap in the face, a demonstration of brute force which takes away everything in its path. The knives/eggnog is this lay-up that takes everyone by surprise, while touching against the Lakers during the NBA Finals. The sake-steamed Gamberoni are like the cross-over on Byron Russell in 98, we are taken to the right with the saffron-coffee white butter, destabilized by the one with caper leaves to end up being stunned by this spice gel. The Last Shot. It is customary to define the legends of an area by the impact and the memory they leave. Certainly Alexandre Mazzia, and his dining room/kitchen team, are changing the way of conceiving gastronomy, by daring, by exploring sometimes unknown territories and for that we can only say Thank you and Bravo.
I had the chance to dine in many starred restaurants, and it’s hard to compare them. Yet this establishment stands out by its explosions of flavours in the mouth. An exceptional level of cuisine seen void. A very competent and pleasant room service. Don’t miss this masterpiece of French gastronomy.
