Les Grandes Tables De La Friche

The place is great, contrary we were very disappointed with the service and food. The pizza 2 choices only. We ordered 3 plats from the menu,and 1 pizza. Our plates arrived 5 minutes after, we call that speed cooking? Pizza took much longer. We also asked for some wine.....we had to re ask 15 minutes later again for the wine, (I make clear that there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant at that time). Finally the red wine arrived and it was about ..let's say about 20degrees c, not warm but HOT,,, horrible. Bad experience for us. Not going back to eat there in any case. And to finish with, servers, we wouldn't call the either nice or professional. Too bad.

The choices are very traditional and are not the ones you would choose when out for a romantic dinner. However, if you are in the neighbourhood and need a decent lunch you definitely should consider this restaurant. The setting is a bit special (sort of factory) and doesn't feel clean. The place is quite popular and your choice on the menu might quickly be unavailable. When we were there, some of us only could have their third choice. The portions on the other hand are large and the price is around 12 to 14 Euro for a main course. (As a matter of fact, there are only main courses).

Gorgeous restaurant right on the beach. Had an amazing seafood soup and scollops with a delicious Rose! service was excellent and for those that french is a second language or less than) the menu was in english and the staff all spoke english.

We just loved it: nice unique environment, nice staff and good food ! What more do you need except from good company ; ? Do not forget to the highest level, the huge terras ! You do not have to pay entrance to go to the foodlounge, neither to the terras ! Just go enjoy !

A unique place to visit in Marseille, very quiet in a good way, the food is good and the staff is great. Prices are normal. Must go for an alternative day in the city.
