Smokey J's - Marshfield

Food was good, our waitress was great. However whoever else was closing 4/12/19 was rude. We had came in late and asked if it was ok to stay since we had out of town people eating with us and our waitress was completely ok with it and said she'd justclean around us, which was more than ok. About 8:15 pm we were getting ready to leave and the 2 yo had a drink spill. No biggie,the waitress helped us clean it up. Another lady with blondeish hair came out and rudely said, We closed 15 minutes ago, we'regoing to have to ask you to leave. ????She clearly wasn't asking and that isn't how you ask someone to leave a place ofbusiness, especially after we okayed it with someone else. I probably won't go there again with how rude she was.

A little pricey for what you get, but the food is good and I'd definitely eat there again.

Great pizza and pulled pork sandwiches! Awesome all around atmosphere and good service. Owner comes around and makes sure the food is good. Great place to go with the family!

My work just moved to the area. I was looking for something different than fast food, and that's when I stumbled upon Smokey J's. It is positioned in a downtown store front, the dining area is quaint but open. The order counter was a little dark, butwith the lighting coming in from the store front that is OK. The gal behind the counter was so nice and showed me how to order.I filled out my order sheet and had my food in about 5 minutes. I got the Brisket Sandwich, seriously it was one of the bestBrisket Sandwiches that I have ever had. I am a stickler about my brisket too. I will definitely be going back to Smokey J's!
