Early the morning up from Champex Lac I jokingly ask the hiker passing us on way down if there's a restaurant at the top, and he says yes and that the pie is excellent. He was so right. Absolutely stunning views and the most excellent peach pie. All with the bovine bells chiming next to us. Wish I could get this back home in Colorado! The worst hut we came across on the TMB. The scrappiest one, miserable and most of all poor and rude service. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A bakery at the top of the climb, this place is one of the greatest places on the planet. They have pies and coffee! Picnic tables with umbrellas to shade you from the sun or cover you from the rain. Great staff, surrounded by people hiking places. And they have a WC with an incredible view, take the time to look out the window and enjoy the views from a bakery up in the mountains. Excellent place to stop for a coffee and cake on your hike. They have a place to fill up water and one small toilet. Service was not amazing but the views certainly made up for it, lucky to be “above the clouds” on our visit which made the experience feel magical. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch
