El Loro Big Lake - Martin Ave, Big Lake

Food was good, it took 45min for a to go order to show up.

We weren't sure what to expect when we pulled in to the parking lot. It was not very busy and we were wondering if it was even open. Maybe we were too early for the dinner rush. But this place was great! Our server was very friendly and attentive. The Chicken Fajitas were amazing! The bathrooms were clean and smelled wonderful. Dietary restrictions: We asked for a Gluten Free menu, they could not find one, they will be ordering more, but you can sub corn tortillas for a gluten free option on most things. My husband had the enchiladas with corn tortillas and they were good!

Wife and I love El Loro. Food is always amazing. Wait times have been going up, but that doesn't bother me as much as our tab was 36.60, and we paid with the card and tipped 10 cash. When we looked online our charge was 46.60. So, they ended up with a 20$ tip. ?

Food was very good, however the service needs improvement. We were one of two other couples who were there for a late lunch...servers were not very attentive, and checked in with us when we were almost done with our meal.

First time here. It was a Friday night, not busy, but it still took a while to get our food. The server even thought we were done eating and was going to bring our check. We had to say we haven't gotten our food yet. I got the wrong drink and the glass handle was broken on the mug. Server was super nice and helpful when they realized what happened. It looks a bit run down, carpet is missing in parts and the wood is pretty scuffed up in places. TVs or some kind of electronics are missing from the walls so bare wires and brackets are poking out. It could definitely use some love. Once we got the food it was good. Not in a hurry to go back though.
