Logan 's is the kind of restaurant that you try out every couple of years, get a marginal meal, write-off for awhile and then repeat. Our last visit we got warned off of the crab cakes by the waitress (kudos on her! because they weren 't what people expect, they aren 't 'crabby ' . I tried the gumbo which was laughably bad, consisting of rice, a bean paste, 4 shrimp with tails on and some non-discript sausage. Yeah, right. Yes, it 's a one meal snapshot but we 'll be taking another couple year break from Logan 's.
I recently picked up a quick carry-out meal for my wife at Logan's Roadhouse in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. Let me break it down for you: The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the loaded baked potato soup. It was rich, creamy, and flavor-packed. Moving on to the mains, I opted for the fried crab cakes. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to learn that they were pre-made and frozen. As a seafood enthusiasts, I hoped to provide my wife a fresh, authentic crab cake experience. The lack of freshness was noticeable. On the positive side, the macaroni and cheese were a delightful side dish. Creamy and cheesy, it complemented the meal nicely. The loaded baked potato, while not outstanding, was good enough to satisfy my wife's potato craving. Logan's Roadhouse in Martinsburg offers mixed dining experiences. The loaded baked potato soup stands out, but the pre-made and frozen crab cakes left my wife wanting something else. If you're in the mood for some comfort food and are willing to overlook the crab cake, it's worth a visit. However, if you're a stickler for fresh seafood, you should explore other options.
Clean and friendly. I was visiting out of town. Food was hot and fresh. Dip, boneless wings, and the pork sandwich were great. As a previous reviewer said, it's like a TX Roadhouse. It's not fine dining (not a dig) if you want chicken/BBQ/ribs in a sports friendly, clean place, it's a great place to go. Family friendly. Everyone was courteous. Would go back.
Save your time money. worst food/management. go to longhorn or texas roadhouse. they offered no solutions or acknowledgement of horrible food.
