This is a small, local restaurant, with a smaller kitchen and food is freshly prepared. The hostess told us the food was about 45 minutes. She was super friendly and accommodating. I would expect this size in a restaurant for 35-45 minutes. The menu is smaller, but this helps a small kitchen function more efficiently and there is a lot of variety. Like all service industries, they are little help and attitude. Every waiting person we observed tried hard. Drinks were refilled as fast as our waiter, and our food was wonderful. The portions are huge. It was great to find a place that offers something else that is also delicious. I hope this restaurant goes back well. (Bacon fries, New Orleans Pasta, Parm Chicken)
The food quality was solid. The service was good. Prices were slightly higher than expected. The tables were not completely cleaned. The outside of the restaurant does not indicate the name of the location. A decent but average restaurant.
Prices are very reasonable. The food wasn't so good. I ordered grilled vegetables that WEREN'T grilled only in much fat saturated. I couldn't even eat her. The French onion soup wasn't good either. The service price was 5. The food was a first.
Good food and prices. Similar to Chili's or Applebees, but no chain. Love the unique restaurants.
Overall upscale vibe with quality food, live music after 9pm means anyone looking for a quiet evening should come earlier for dinner considering the size of the restaurant vs music and amount of people. Drinks cost within reason and are made strong, definitely among the best bars in Martinsville. Depending on the night service may be spotty but everyone is quick to assist if you ask. Gratuity isn't included but they do print suggestions on the receipt so calculations are one less thing to worry about after a meal. Basically a hidden gem tucked behind a nearly abandoned mall which gives reason to visit the Brookdale side of the city.
