This is a unquic place for lunch. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, i had some home made soup and my husband a wonderful bacon and brie fruity salad. Fantastic service, which completed the food which was marvellous I had the homemade carrot and lentil soup which was accompanied by a warm cheese scone, and my husband had the cheese and onion quiche with new potatoes and a salad. Finished off with an illy coffee. Wonderful. It was worth the trip from Alston
