Wong's Palace Restaurant - Marystown

I don't understand the negative reviews. We tried six different dishes and they were all delicious. If I lived in Marystown, I would visit this restaurant frequently. The wonton soup is one of my favorites - not too salty with a light and flavorful broth. The curry chicken and vegetables, something I wouldn't typically order, were excellent and I'm glad we gave it a try. The service was also very good.

The food at this restaurant is extremely expensive, especially when you request modifications to your dish that are often not accommodated. There is a serious issue with cross-contamination, as I have a food allergy to eggs and constantly find egg particles in dishes where I specifically asked for no egg. The quality of the food is average at best, with a Canadian twist on traditional Chinese cuisine.

This restaurant is a fantastic establishment with delicious food and excellent service. The decor has a strong Chinese influence, which complements the fact that it is a Chinese restaurant. The only suggestion is to improve the upkeep of the exterior. Other than that, it is a wonderful place to dine!

This is the oldest and most known Chinese food place in this town but it has really gone down . Food taste ok but the decor is gross and the chairs are falling apart and the waitress was horrible OMG the prices are good and serving sizes but they don 't like much veggies or greens and the rice is so bland !

Always had good food here. It 's more North American Chinese food than traditional Chinese food. That said always tasty, always good service and lots left over!
