El Jimador - Maryville

The last few times we have ordered takeout from this restaurant, it was average at best. When we dined in tonight, we found out they no longer offer happy hour. The waiter brought our food but never returned to see if everything was okay. We had to ask for the bill and waited 10 minutes at the register to pay. The service staff seemed indifferent and unfriendly. Overall, not a pleasant experience and we do not plan on returning.

If you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine, then this is the place to be. We have visited many restaurants, but this one and the other in Madisonville are hands down the best.

We always received our drinks promptly, placed our order, and then received another drink. However, it took 15 minutes to receive the second drink, followed by another 30 minutes to receive our order. We had to wait an additional 10 minutes for our food to be packed in a to-go container. When we expressed our concerns to the staff, they were unresponsive. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

I haven't eaten for years and has recently been eating with my mom and brother. the it area is very clean and cabins relatiw comfortable. I had the Steak Fajitas and it was as great as I remembered them. the size of the portion is also very generous and made for a very fillable eating. chips and salsa were also provided and the salsa was very delicious. it is a small salsa, but the chips keep it very good. service was also timely and very friendly. overall a very good experience and I will come back more often to support local businesses!

Terrible, even accounting for the fact that it's Tex Mex. Ordered the enchiladas supremos and the enchiladas were cold. When I sent them back, they gave me back the same plate that had been microwaved. The lettuce and sour cream were nice and hot but the enchiladas were still cold. Didn't say anything since we were there to celebrate with a large group of friends and family but yuck... poorly prepared and served without care.
