Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Mason City

I have never encountered such rudeness when placing an order at a restaurant before. The server made snarky remarks when I asked for clarification on the size options. We ordered mediums but received smalls instead. I bet customers are appreciated at Clear Lake DQ, which is only 7 miles away.

We had lunch after riding on RAGBRAI and The Burger was the perfect spot. The onion rings were freshly made and hot.

Today during my lunch break, I ordered an original double cheeseburger. When I returned to work, I realized I had been given a bacon cheeseburger instead, which I don't eat. Unfortunately, I was unable to return to the restaurant, so I ended up with a medium diet coke and a small order of onion rings (approximately 8 rings) for my $10 lunch. The overall experience was disappointing, as the person taking my order seemed disinterested. I am giving this restaurant 2 stars only because the onion rings were hot and fresh.

Went through the drive-thru we ordered a triple chocolate brownie, a sundae, and a dipped cone. The sundae was fine. The dipped cone was the smallest large cone I have seen in a while. The thing that destroyed my treat was watching a chubbymiddle-aged male walk up to the young lady making my dessert. He plopped something into the bowl, and wiped his bare hands onhis shirt as he walked away. No! I do not want a brownie that was manhandled by someone not using tongs or gloves. Disgusting!It ruined it for me.

Started with a very quiet speaking, non smiling order taker. After a longer than usual wait for dq, and customers that came in after our order was taken got their food, the very rude order deliverer rushed past a WWII Veteran using a walker he had tostop and wait this mannerless server dropped our tray on the table without any hesitation or a single word. The food wasalright, not up to the usual dq standards we have experienced across the country. Yes, we visit many stores regularly. We willnot visit this store again
