The Blue Heron - Mason City

I have been wanting to try this restaurant because of the blue heron and finally had the chance! I was so happy to be in Mason City on Saturday. I ordered the fish and crab tacos with Baja sauce, and they were amazing. We also tried the homemade cheese balls with grilled sauce. The service was excellent. We will definitely be returning!

In the city of indiana to see family. what a great place to eat! the service was great! I hope to go back sometime. loved the fried pickles and homemade chips.

The food was so good! And the service so friendly. We loved getting to have a nice dinner after a day of tornado chasing!

The fried pickles are the best, not frozen and fried buy actual spears breaded and fried fresh, they also have beyond burgers that they will substitute for any patty. Good prices! Super clean!

Amazing place! Staff was great and food is all hand batter, made from scratch delicious!! We had Green pepper rings with homemade honey mustard sauce for an appetizer and they were soooo good!! Next was 3 peice cod dinner with side salad and homemade mashed potatoes with Italian sausage gravy and Texas toast. It was All excellent . Please experience
