First I'll say that while Firebirds is HELLA expensive for a chain bar and grill, their food is super delicious and I love sitting outside the restaurant at either a high top or at the bar! The atmosphere is amazing and I've only gotten great service from the staff! Visit 1 I had a 16 oz Prime Rib w/tater tots and Key Lime pie and an Old Fashioned. OMG! Visit 2 I was being a hog this time. I had two starters: a. Bacon Deviled Eggs b. Prime rib sliders And for my entree I have Spinach Salmon salad. Washed it all down with a Ginger Beer, and tonic water! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. Have you been to Firebirds Wood Fired grill yet?
One thing Firebird will get right is that Cajun butter steak! The steak melts in your mouth like butter. If you're a big fan of spice I say this is perfect. It's not overly spicy but the hint of Cajun is there and brings the steak to a new level. Service was great the waitress answered all of our questions and didn't rush us to order when we were still looking at the menu. The down fall of the meal was my ceaser salad. It didn't taste like a ceaser salad unfortunately. It was my first time ordering the lemon cake and it was delicious. Not too sweet but once you add the blueberry sauce it does make the cake sweeter.
Great spot for dinner while in town for work. Was a busy Monday night but got a solo seat in the bar with a cozy bench table with pillows, great after a long day of travel. Half off glasses of rosé helped too! For dinner I had the Honey Garlic Chicken, broccoli, and Parmesan mashed potatoes soooo good, highly recommend!
We met our good friends here last weekend. When you walk in you are met with the smell of grilled food and a very spacious and clean restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive. We ordered drinks off their summer drink menu. I can't remember the name of the drink. It was very good. I decided to get the three course meal. Started with the BLT salad, which was delicious. The bacon was so good. I ordered the small sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak had the texture of ground beef. It was overcooked and just tasted awful. No sear on it and some sort of seasoned butter. It just was not good. The mashed potatoes were cold on the outside and warm on the inside and absolutely flavorless. The broccoli had nothing on it. It was just plain steamed broccoli. I don't know what I expected on the broccoli, but it was just plain. It wasn't even tasty when you dipped it in the very small amount of juice and butter from the steak. I didn't even eat more than a few bites of the steak because the texture was so bad, and it was so overcooked the waitress came and asked if I needed a box and I told her no that it was just terrible. She got the manager. He said he took it off our bill, which was really nice, I guess, but I left the restaurant without having a dinner. They asked me if I wanted something else, but I didn't want to sit and eat my dinner and make everyone else wait. I ordered the crème brûlée cheesecake to go. It was the third component to the meal. My husband and I shared that when we got home, and it was absolutely delicious. I don't really like cheesecake, but it was more like a crème brûlée than it was cheesecake. My husband had the burger. He said it was OK, but not great, Our friends had the Cajun steak. And the chicken salad. He said the steak was fine, and she said the salad was absolutely delicious. Our friend also ordered the old fashion. He had two of them. He said they were fantastic. Overall, not a great experience if the entrées aren't good.
Do it! Make the reservation!! This restaurant was so good! Everything about it ... service, drinks, food, ambience... was five stars! And you have got to get the Tomahawk Pork Chop!! Hands down the best flavor of pork chop I have ever had! great anniversary date night dinner!
