Peggy Dempsey's - Maspeth

I visited on Sunday and was warmly welcomed by our server, Jasmine. She made me feel at home the moment I stepped in! With a bright smile, she promptly informed me about their new menu. I ordered the chicken dumplings and crab cakes, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the quality of the food and the attentive service. I can’t wait to go back!

A fantastic local spot! After attending a wake at the funeral home, my family needed a place to grab a bite to eat, and we found Peggy Dempsey's. They offered a wonderful range of dishes at reasonable prices. The food was outstanding, and our waiter was extremely attentive. It turned out to be a surprisingly pleasant experience following a somber occasion, so we decided to return the next day after the funeral. Even though we arrived a bit early before the official opening hours, they graciously accommodated us again with delicious food. The burgers, shepherd's pie, and various sandwiches were all fantastic! The combination of convenience and excellent service made a tough time much more bearable. It's great to have such an amazing local restaurant with delicious food and wonderful staff. Highly recommended!

On a hot day, we enjoyed ice-cold beers, refreshing air conditioning, and burgers. Normally, I wouldn't check the bill, but I did this time and discovered that the bartender charged me for two extra beers that I didn't order. Furthermore, my burger, which I asked to be well done, was served rare. Overall, for 8 beers, a burger, and 2 shots, the bill came to $103, which I felt was too high for the experience. Not impressed.

I had a wonderful experience at Peggy's last night while celebrating my son's confirmation. The food was delicious, and the service from Jen was outstanding! She truly is the best!

I had a great time at Trivia Night on February 14. It would have been even better if Tequila Mockingbird (Zee I) had won! I've always enjoyed the food here, especially the fish burgers. I'm looking forward to Cowboy Night on February 24!
