Island Sunrise Cafe - Masset

One peculiar thing about Masset is that, despite being a fishing village, fresh fish isn't always available on the menu. It's best to inquire before placing your order. I discovered that while the fish and chips are typically made from fresh caught fish, the fillets might not always be. I had a fantastic meal of FRESH Halibut and chips at this restaurant.

We had a great breakfast at this restaurant with good service and reasonable prices. We visited with three family members and everyone enjoyed their meal. The portions were generous and the atmosphere was friendly. We would definitely return.

I was pleasantly surprised by this fast food restaurant. We ordered a hamburger and fish and chips, both of which were well-cooked and tasted fresh. If you're visiting Masset/Old Masset, I recommend stopping by this restaurant, but be aware that they close at 3PM, so plan your visit to the north end of the island accordingly.

This is a small town and so I was told that there were new people running the place and that some of the menu and the hours had changed. The service was great considering there is a couple running everything. This is a small little restaurant with old country charm.

Still the place to go for old style breakfasts. Good portions...plenty of coffee and good conversations. Check them out if your looking for eggs n bacon......
