Feedback gevenHidden on the high plains, above Massiac, lies this little treasure of a restaurant. With terrace and cave seat, excellent service and food, what is not to like. My wife and I enjoyed three wonderfully prepared courses, accompanied by a local Chardonnay. Our marinated Lachsentree, followed by a main consisting of three large shrimps, was light but satisfying. We followed the composed desert of ice, meringue, sauce and biscuit cornet, with coffee. When we left, the view of the valley below was breathtaking!
My sister and I spent two nights in June 2015 in Auberge de Chalet and it was the best time ever. The owners of the facility Sophie and Pascal are the most friendly hosts, considering that we don't speak French. The landscape was breathtaking, peaceful and calm. We had the best good night sleep, and we felt totally scared. We promised to come back and go, we would stay much longer than two nights. Accommodation and food, heavenly. If you want to get away from the daily loop and stressful work/life, drive to Auberge de Chalet, where you would find peace and tranquility.
