The Root Vegan Gluten Free Cafe

I have not eaten vegan food since I was in college a million years ago and all I can say is WOW! The food was amazing, I wouldn't even have known it was vegan. The baked goods were also scrumptious.

Five of us went for lunch today and we all loved everything we ordered! There must be some kind of magic in the recipes there…even if you’re not vegan/vegetarian, you’ll absolutely love it!

Great quality food, lots of great choices and gluten free options are always available. They have specials desserts and food on the weekend. Family owned and operated. Mostly organic, when possible.My Top regular menu eats:-Loaded fries-the jack bbq jackfruit wrap)-the big cheese homemade bread YUM)Top specials-sloppy joe- kfc type bowl. Homemade popcorn cikn, mash potatoes , corn and gray.-homemade calzone-gyro-grapes leaves check cold case)Best dessert-buster bar think schools pb bar but BETTER) fudge.But they are all good. Never go wrong here.Youll keep coming back, youll love this freedom fighting business?

I am always amazed at how creative and good the food is at this little vegan restaurant in downtown Massillon. More of a carry out establishment rather than dine in but they do have a few tables if you choose to eat there. The desserts are some of the best I've ever had and there are new mouth watering specials everyday. We opted for the Buffalo Cheddar Bacon Ranch sandwich on this day. Not vegan? Doesn't matter, the food is that good.

First visit and food was really delicious. Best BBQ jackfruit I’ve ever tasted and their salads were fresh, healthy, and tasty, especially liked the Greek. We will be back.
