Cafe Solway - Masterton

Charming cozy café with a warm, inviting atmosphere that is clean and well-kept. I enjoyed a large coffee, perfectly poached eggs Benedict, and the best seafood chowder I've ever tasted!

It was my first visit and was not too sure where the cafe was. I went from parking in front of the copthorne hotel. the outside area with playground looked great to meet. my soy-Mochacino was delish. my only problem was how long it took for me to be served. have to wait exceptionally long if there is no line. I would suggest that the cafe management commands look at and that is priority. I could have just walked out like the longest one I had to wait for my command. a better communication and organization between the employees would make the experience a 5 stars.

Cafe Solway is located in Masterton, my hometown, and it’s one of my favorite spots to have lunch with my mother when I'm back in the area. This cozy little café, situated next to a driving range, provides a nice option for some pre- or post-meal activity. The food and coffee are delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff is both attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning!

I visited for the first time today. It’s a lovely little café with friendly staff, and at first glance, it seems like a great playground for the little ones. However, the closeness to the water is concerning, and the safety barriers around the playground could use some improvement.

Went for a coffee this morning. Didn't expect to wait over 15 mins as didn't appear busy. Won't be rushing back they were more interested in setting up for a private thing than my coffee.
