Instead, it was thin and seemed like it had been reheated on a pan. The fact that the meal came with fries (and a pickle) was nice, but they were nothing special. I'm used to New York City standards for Reubens, but this dish did not meet my expectations!
I ordered the open-faced Reuben sandwich with fries, and although the service was excellent, I was let down by the food. The corned beef did not seem to be high-quality deli meat, instead, it was thin and appeared to be prepackaged cold cuts that were reheated on a pan. While the fact that the meal came with fries and a pickle was a nice touch, there was nothing extraordinary about either. Perhaps I am accustomed to the standards of Reuben sandwiches in New York City, but this dish definitely did not meet my expectations!
My husband and I went to this restaurant, and he decided to order some wings. We got an order of mild and garlic butter flavors. Both were incredibly tasty, with the chicken cooked to a crispy perfection. The sauces were also spot on! The only downside was that they charged extra for ranch and blue cheese. Can you believe that?
The reviewer was seated next to the bar, which was nice. However, their table was not properly cleaned and they had to ask a waiter to clean it. When they received their salads, they noticed that the outside of the oily bottles was dirty and there were flies all around. Overall, the experience was terrible and they do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
My husband is from the area and there are few places nearby that serve wings. I asked him to bring some home, so he ordered a mild and a garlic butter flavor. Both were delicious, with perfectly crispy fried chicken and delicious sauces. My only complaint is that they charge extra for ranch and blue cheese dressing. What's up with that?
