Enoteca Dai Tosi - MATERA

We enjoyed the food so much we went again the next day. Not typical Italian menu. Excellent sausage pasta, breadballs in tomato sugo, interesting and fresh salads, best pear and ricotta cake. Greco DOC white wine superb. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Best place to go in Matera. Staff and the manager are so friendly and accommodating and the quality of ingredients is very high and locally sourced. Can't recommend this more. Thank you for our best evening in Matera so far.

I never leave reviews, let alone bad reviews. For this place I decided to leave one. Service was extremely slow. Food took more than 1h15 to arrive (for two pasta dishes). The orechiette dish was very sour and lacked flavor. Portions were very small. The wine was fine.

Wonderful bar, largely dug into the rock and carefully restored. They serve very tasty wines and pretty good small dishes. Pricewise I'd say it is a bit much for what you get.. a glass of wine and some small bites for 2 will easily set you back 40 or 50 euros; for that price you can get proper dishes elsewhere. Nevertheless, picturesque location, friendly staff and good wine. Try the stuffed squid!

We were looking for a place to do an aperitivo before dinner and we found this enoteca next to our place. We stayed on the patio outside and we loved the location. Food was amazing(typical from the region), great wine and staff extremely helpful. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Ah, have a walked inside the Enoteca, pretty impressive how it is made/decorated.
