Nadi Braceria - MATERA

There were four of us for dinner. We ordered a bottle of red, which was recommended by the waitress, and which was absolutely delicious. Then the owner came over to say 'hello '. One of our group spoke Italian and the two of them started chatting. The next thing I knew, food started arriving (I had nothing to do with the ordering only the eating). We began with the Antipasto Nadi, the rest was a blur. We had a couple of pasta dishes, a lamb stew and rolled veal (we opted for family style). Everything was beyond amazing. I expected to see a $500 bill for dinner (which would have been well worth the money). Instead, including the wine, the bill came to 144 Euros. Nadi 's was a truly wonderful experience. Be sure to make a reservation.

Unassuming entrance but venture inside for a charming ‘cave’ dinning experience. The owner greeted us at the table. The truffle tagliatelle was amazing!

My wife and I and two teenage daughters took a day trip with our dog to visit Matera. Upon arriving, we found that the restaurant that is highly recommended on TripAdvisor did not allow dogs, so we called Ristorante Nadi after finding it with a Google search. It almost hidden, tucked away on a side street and is essentially a cantina. Our server, who was most likely the proprietor, was kind, jovial and accommodating. He immediately brought our dog a bowl of water. The vegetable antipasta was delicious as were our pasta primi piatti and the secondi piatti, a roasted chicken with potatoes assorted grilled meats that included a local offal that was delectable. A fava bean puree with cicoria was also exceptionally tasty. We had a great local wine, also. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was a homey experience and a true representation of Basilicata regional cuisine.

Se più persone al posto, in tempi diversi, e inconsapevolmente ciascuno degli altri, ti indicano nel nous di ristoranti che possono essere consigliati praticamente tutti un indirizzo. le aspettative quando si va là sono grandi. forse anche per questo ci aspettavamo di più: il cibo discreto, il servizio non esattamente brillante, e infine (nononostante aver promesso che sarebbe stato proposto ad un buon prezzo, perché appartenente ad una fornitura con berretti di sughero chiaramente difettosi, tanto da servire prima di filtrare in una caraffa) l'accusa in conto di una normale bottiglia di aglianico a 36 .sincesolo: Non dovremmo mai tornare a Matera, andremmo a cena altrove.

Durante il nostro tour siamo stati a cena per due notti in questo posto vicino all'hotel, servizio cordiale, buon cibo di tradizione, cucina a vista.
