Olde Fish House Marina - Matlacha

The atmosphere is relaxed, right by the water, and it’s an outdoor setting. The dishes are served on paper plates, which adds to the casual vibe. Prices are a bit steep, but that’s to be expected with seafood in Florida; it seems they might charge a little extra so the government can collect more tax (especially since there’s no income tax here). Everyone I interacted with was friendly. My only complaint was the difficulty of leaving the parking lot, as the two-lane road made it a bit of a challenge. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The frog legs here are the best, and it's such a fun spot to check out! This old Florida restaurant really stands out. With great music and a fantastic menu featuring dishes like mullet fish spread and shrimp/oyster po'boys, everything is incredibly fresh. The staff is wonderful, too. It's definitely a must-visit whenever we're in Matlacha!

The best fish sandwich and fish dip I've ever had! I've been coming here for years—this review is long overdue. Every visit has been consistently fantastic, from the food to the staff, and even the entertainment featuring live music and birds. There’s something truly unique and organically therapeutic about The Olde Fish House that feels deeply restorative for the soul. This place is a must-visit if you're in the area!

My friends highly recommended this restaurant, and we found it to be excellent. The ambiance was cozy, and the authentic food made it difficult for me to settle for just one meal! The menu features a wide selection of daily specials. Our waitress was fantastic and made sure to check on us frequently. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
