Matsumoto Brewery Tap Room Nakamachi

All four beers available on the design were very good: two IPAs (a strong, one micro), a fall and an unusual, yet good grapes. English-speaking, friendly and competent staff. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Nice taproom. Bartender was very friendly and welcoming. Beers were excellent. The grape beer was surprisingly good. There is limited space through the bar, but more seats on the second floor. A cozy place to make new friends about a good beer. Another must visit my books when in Matsumoto.

Undoubtedly amazing local brewery beer. The Grape Ale was exceptional, the Scotch Ale was unique and worth your time. All on the tap you can try for free. Bottom bar filled with locals, top seating area a little soft, but good. The staff was welcoming and funny.

The best place to stop for beer lovers! The tap room is a little small, but they also have upstairs. On the tap, they had 5 beers and a hop dish. The bar tender was very nice and cheerful, so a conversation for all guests at the bar. If you're curious to try fantastic Japanese beer, you should definitely go there. If you can't drink so much, don't worry. You can also buy bottled beers and take home or send them to you.

Four beers on tap we had a pale, a wheat beer, and one of the IPAs. Didn't try the stout but all three others were aromatic and with quite a bit more body when compared to other Japanese beers a great pit stop for craft beer lovers. Matsumoto Brewery certainly love theirs!
