Feedback gevenNever again. What a terrible disappointment was this place. My family and I tried it back a few months when we were in the area. I hope they have now improved things, but judged by the majority of reviews, it does not seem so. Firstly, food is cheap and it is not worth going at all. I would have had a better meal to make it home. It seemed like it was made by someone who barely knew how to cook, very simple, nothing like restaurant tariff for which you pay. My mother and I both ordered the cattle fajitas, and both orders were mostly burned. The amount of meat was small to begin. My brother ordered what the menu claimed to be orange juice, but received orange soda, and a burrito, and it was basically a tortilla with a small piece of chicken hidden inside. But the biggest thing that ruined my impression of this restaurant was honestly not the food. This place is NOT family-friendly. It offers significantly more to the customers who use the bar. (We were the only family that had eaten there; most of them were men, many of whom were sitting at the bar. All the time we were there, there was a TV screen that played music videos, most of which were very sexual, limit pornographic even. What kind of restaurant with a KINDER 'S menu does this type of garbage play? It was very embarrassing and annoying since we had five young guys with us. We had the people who changed the seats at our table when I realized what was on the screen so they couldn't see it. I finally asked the waitress when she came back if she would please turn it off and told her right in front that it would play porn material. She just said, okay, and then she left. Nothing changed. The waitress #2 comes to refill glasses, etc., so I told her the same, and she said: Oh we can't control it, it just turns automatically when we turn on the power for the restaurant. Only our manager can control it, and they're not here today. It doesn't make sense. And behold, when we finally got off after dinner, a guy sat at the bar with a remote that changed things on the TV. So much to not control it. You must have lost our business. My whole family agreed that the place was terrible and didn't want to think. The food is a joke, and they need to clean up their action if they want families with children to feel safe and welcome.
My food was on the spot, my wife ordered a dish with shrimps in him that was a little overcooked. Nevertheless, everything in a good experience. The waitress even offered to take our food to the car if we wanted.
Terrible service! A meal ordered and it was 2 times wrong. When I asked how much longer the 3rd hopefully corrected order would be, they never started and just let me sit in the restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous. There was also a table with customers fed with several employees to make a simple order. Never again.
Update 9/20 I give up, I do not recommend this place. I called, explained to the employee who took my previous terrible experience and when I picked up my order, I hoped something better. I have paid extra for a guacamole that was all brown, it has the seeds so that it should not be brown, I love guacamole, know how to make it and I know how long it takes to get brown. The frogs had salad on the top, but glue a little dark/brown, so I thought it was a jalapeno; it was a very bad, brown, lazy piece of avocado, and you will see more in the photos. I think they've done it on purpose. After I paid $33, I have to go to McDonald and get dinner because the amount of rice and beans was just creepy and more like a child's meal. The chips are ooolder than my grandma and you can smell the fat. And I threw away the guacamole. I respectfully do not understand how they are still open. Terrible place! I'd go to Independence Blvd, where I found many great places to eat. I was in this place twice a month because I will soon move to this area. The first visit I ordered the Carne Asada, the meat was good, but it comes with rice and beans (Kids meal portion, serious! and a tiny amount of guacamole. Is the first Mexican? Restaurant serving so little! The meat content was okay. I ordered an additional order from Guacamole because I knew I was hungry. Second visit, ordered lunch special, pork chops, this time, the meat smelled and tasted really bad and I had to ask the waiter to change my meal. Little portion again, so I ordered a separate order of guacamole that is not the best thing I have eaten in my life, but so be it. The plate was shown to come with a ?egg salad? but surprise! I have a fried egg instead! You can smell the oil like when the food is cooked with the oil, recycled oil, not pleasant. I always post photos, but I didn't feel excited even when I was there. The good news is that I visit many other ways when I go to Stallings. Carnitas is not one of them. Place is not clean, especially the bathroom, nor the tables or chairs. You can see that the stand armchairs have never been cleaned, at least where we sat. I don't know, much goes there, but definitely don't recommend the place.
Mixed review Pros: cool atmosphere. Generous portions of food, good prices Cons: very slow service. We were there a total of 2 hours for dinner. We had to remind them to take our orders. The table next to us had the same issue. Overall good. I will be back when it's not as busy
