Picadeli's Pub-in-deli - Matthews

A hidden gem in Matthews, Picadeli's can be a bit tricky to locate within a nondescript strip mall off Highway 74, but it's definitely worth the visit. At its heart, it offers deli and bar food with a variety of excellent options on the menu. Over the course of 4-5 visits, we've tried numerous dishes, including burgers, subs, and sandwiches like the Reuben and Philly Cheesesteak, but our top choice has to be the Double Brat plate. One would have sufficed, but they generously serve two, which are packed with herbs and incredibly flavorful, especially with a dollop of mustard. Be prepared for the parking lot to fill up quickly during lunchtime at the strip mall. The service is great, and the staff is genuinely friendly. All in all, Picadeli's is a fantastic spot in Matthews.

We are always on the lookout for the perfect dining spot, and I feel like we've finally found it. As soon as you step inside, you can relax and experience the wonderful atmosphere you've been hoping for. It's truly a special place where everyone can feel at home. The servers greet you with warm smiles and are well-versed in the menu, which adds to the experience. The food is fantastic, but make sure to leave room for the Baklava—it's a must-try! Traveling all the way from Western Carolina, this restaurant was a refreshing find. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and they made me feel like part of the family. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for being a staple in the community for 32 years!

It was good restaurant, food was amazing. I loved her homemade beer, I think it's homemade or I get right. Just think there are thin girls that are absolutely racist (she takes a star from five star review. Except everything else is good. My order is Chicken Wings with mild 12 and with Lemon Pepper. And I also ordered beer and fries?. Make sure you tap cash :

Catching up on reviews. Noticed this spot as I sat in a long line at Wendy's. The reviews were so good, I tried it on Saturday, 05-07-22. Definitely a mom pop spot with plenty of nostalgia. I ordered the Philly steak and cheese to go; it came with fries. Pretty sure I added grilled onions. I was greeted as soon as I entered. The lady who took my order asked if I had any questions. She went in the back after I gave her my order. That's when I checked out the place started taking pictures. The food was ready in no time. It was no cheese steak from Philly or Bmore but it hit the spot. If I stop by again, it'll probably be to try the baklava.
