Good food, good staff, friendly, there's nothing to dislike here, professional bartenders too

The restaurant had excellent food, decor, and service. The steak tip potato skins were fantastic appetizers.

Is a good experience, except that they no longer deal with open table. they have not listed my reservation. when I booked it, they were still member. they are no longer.

No very good meal at pace’s dockside. first they told me that I have no reservation, although I have shown them open tables, they claim they are no longer connected. I need to rebook the reservation for another time. when we arrived there, they brought us to the rear room, which is very dark, although they were many open tables in the front room. when I asked the hostess why she said she didn't know she was told to change in the room. I asked if we could wait for the room and how long would be the waiting time and she reacted very rudely that no one ever asked me this question. they pulled us forward and sat right in front of the house, literally the worst table there when they were at least half dozen other open tables. the food was decent, the drinks were decent, expensive for this part of long island. we had an extremely long waiting period between starters and the net, no one ever came to check for us a refill on the brot or water. because the waiters simply bring the order in the runners that no one checks our orders. between appetizers and netzen we had three separate food defects. sweet potato maische instead regular maische, raw clams instead of clams casino, regular wings instead of the duck wing and the sweetness of my wife were forgotten then came out after we told the waiter at the end of the meal. they would think they would offer a glass of wine or take something out of the bill or at least apologize, but no.

Eat was great and I was impressed by the crab cake because it wasn't fat like a lot of crab cake I had. the waitress was very nice, drinks were good. I would go back. it was only very loud in the dining room and it wasn't even busy.
