Angelo's Pizza - Mattoon

The spaghetti and lasagna was amazing. The taste was 20times better than olive garden

My family and I waited over an hour and half for our dinner, the pizza was nasty, the chicken sandwich was nasty, in the house special horseshoe was just as bad.

The old saying goes if you have to make a sign for something that has happened it's because something major happened in that saying is true for this restaurant they had pictures that stated that quote on quote be nice to the people that are working because they're people too and I wholeheartedly respect that but the thing I don't respect is waiting 2 hours watching other people come and go before we even get our food then charge an arm and a leg for the amount of time that we had to endure I would give this a one-star but at least I thought the food was good so it gave it a two but nothing more than that because of a 2-hour long wait

I was excited to eat here. I used to eat at Angelo's many years ago. The place was nice and clean as expected, and the wait staff were stellar. However, the food was not what I remembered at all. I ordered the lasagna and it was not very good at all. I have to admit I was very disappointed. I was in a hurry so i ate then had to go.

Great stuffed pizza and spaghetti. Great local Restaurant for stuffed pizza. Me and my husband ordered a small mushroom and sausage pizza. Tasted great, I love the sweet marinara sauce. Crust was well done which I like. Service was friendly. We had a group of 10 people. Everyone was served on time. My nephew loved the spaghetti and meatball. I 'm from Georgia...so I never had stuffed pizza. This is a new Favorite.
