Captain D's - Mayfield

Absolutely fantastic service and delicious food! The sweet tea was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They brought our meals to the table and checked in on us during our meal. The cook even came out to ask how everything was, took our dirty plates, and took the time to greet our dogs in the jeep while thanking us for our visit. It was the best fast food experience I’ve ever had! Thank you, D’s of Mayfield—you deserve more than just 5 stars!

This is an excellent restaurant to satisfy your hunger. The food was delicious, and the sides were fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and always greeted us with a smile. I can't go wrong dining here!

I apologize for the lengthy review, but please read on to understand the reason why: We stopped at this restaurant on our way home from Paducah on December 20, 2021, just ten days after the catastrophic tornado hit Mayfield. I’m sure many of the staff were personally affected or had family members who were affected, yet they greeted us with warmth and smiles. Our cashier, Nicole, was incredibly kind and helped my husband navigate his order when he wanted shrimp but was unsure about what to choose. (She also convinced him to order extra shrimp, which was quite amusing). The food was excellent—hot, quick, and plentiful. We even had a gentleman thank everyone in the dining area for coming, as it was quite busy. Overall, we were very impressed! Please know that we are keeping you and Mayfield in our prayers as you rebuild, thanks to the strength of your community’s character!

Good food here served pretty quick. You can eat inside, plenty of room tables clean, bathroom clean. Very friendly folks work there.

I like this place because when you order from the drive through they. Did the order right. The food is hot and enjoyable.
