A solid brunch spot! Open early on a Sunday, allowed us to have a warm tasty brunch before setting off for the ferry! Staff were friendly and service was quick. Kitchen looked well organised and food was well presented. We had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the scrambled egg with salmon! Both were tasty and decent, not the best we have ever had but good quality! Would recommend for a light brunch! Lots of sweet bites on offer too! Coffee was hot and tasty!
Came to CBD to have a coffee as I saw the Lady from the Library cafe working on the coffee machine,I really couldn't believe my luck, and the coffee didn't disappoint, but best of all we ended up staying for a meal after she showed us the menu, I am vegetarian so there was alot of choice, and my Husband had the Mince on toast he said best he's ever had, big selling point for me was that you use Local ingredients, as we try to support or local growers and farmers when we can,now I have two places I can go to and know my food will be cooked properly, really enjoyed the music too.
A friend and I had lunch here yesterday. This was a Christmas statuary holiday and as far as we could tell, this was one of; or perhaps the only open cafe in town. The service was excellent, and the food was tasty and well presented. The staff were cheerful and friendly, despite being under some considerable pressure. Why then I hear you say, did you only give four stars. Well despite all the good things I have said, I thought the prices were way to high and the portions rather small. Before you say there was a holiday surcharge, $31.05 for two small portions of macaroni cheese is still to much.
Just lovely place where you want to stay little bit longer. Everything was perfect. My favourite cafe for a brunch.
