McDonald's - Maylands

One of the better stores I have been to for really nice customer service and food quality, not old and oily. Coffees are made nice, burgers tasty and table service after you've ordered.

I haven't been to maccas in aaaages, but I finally caved in and went to try Create Your Taste. It's actually really good. You get the option of brioche bun or traditional, and then most of the salads are free if you want them, but it's extra for grilled pineapple, bacon, guac, grilled mushrooms etc. they also have herb aioli, mayo, sweet chilli jam and stuff like that.<br/ <br/ I ordered brioche bun with an angus patty and swiss cheese, then grilled pineapple, guac, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle (sliced long like a ribbon , beetroot, and herb aioli, in a meal with the basket of chips and apple and elderflower soda (they also have ginger beer and lemon lime and bitters etc. the soda tasted really artificial, like it was just soda water they put the syrup in<br/ but not like post mix, like they manually squirted the syrup in and it wasn't completely mixed. I got garlic aioli with the fries. It cost $14.85 all up, and it's more than I would usually like to spend at maccas but it was worth it. Best burger I've had from maccas, and better than a burger I had at Fast Eddys across the road a few days later. Would get again but would probs just get water instead of soda. -H

Dirty tables, and although the staff was polite, it seems that they could do with better guidance/training regarding cleanliness. eating is typical of fast foods of the united states - either loaded with sugar or fat, and the nutritional information simply gives a kJ quantity. as a milk-free person I had a few choices, but if vegetarian or vegan, would fight to find something on the menu.

Dreadful service...maylands mcdonalds visits three times today (on regular customers) and ordered dinner coffee for 3 seniors (of which one drove and in uniform), 1 medium and 2 teenagers. the manager refused access to the toilet until the food was on the table. because this is the policy and they get a lot of drug (and by implication therefore we can be) when we pressed the point, the manager asked us to go or she would call the police. we ate our food. We wanted to see the policy she referred to. she called the police. they came to (big use of the police on a Saturday night).

All employees are in the regular polite and respectful had only a bad time when our order was wrong, except this good place.
