So I had the goat. the starters we didn't finish! my goat was all bones and the little meat was very chewing. it was very disappointing when we were looking forward to trying some where new for a change for an Indian meal, but we will not be back if one of them want to go out there to try the best Indians in the eastern suburbs that they cannot pass by cinnamon club on the parade norwood.
We bought a scoopon to try this restaurant. it took 3 to try to eat there at last. the first time we booked, they sent back within hours to say that they were closed for "technical reasons". we booked a few more days later, but when we came there, they were closed. I would normally give up at this point, but we had advance payments so that we persisted, and some ten days later we had to eat there. the next disappointment was that the selection of the dishes was more limited than indicated in their online ad. I understand the necessity of a limited menu on such a deal, but they should be honest at least. we ordered both the sweet savors for entrees they were more like overcooked potato patties and had minimal flavor. the two sanctuaries we had for the net (Hähnchen-Chatinad-Lamm do piaza) were more serious than meat and were watery and barely lukewarm, obviously prepared and reheated. the lamb was bad quality meat, but the chicken dish was quite pleasant, except not hot enough. the dessert stations were insultingly small, with the only gulab jamun is not much bigger than a marble. the service was friendly although it would have been more efficient. Note that this restaurant is now traded as maylands kitchen. they have written tandoori bros on their menus. I'm not sure what's going on here, and I don't think about bad customer communication and the standard setup! I guess they use scoopons as a way to build new customers. if yes, then they go to the wrong way. next time we're looking for a curry.
This restaurant is a hidden gem on the magill road. it is quiet and has excellent rear parking. the entrees are very diverse try tweebel bhaji) and the most important courses are delicious and very cheap try lamb madras.) overall a very comfortable and...mothering dining room experience.
A group of us has dined here for the first time and was most impressed in the fact! the food was delicious and the staff, led by carli, was most friendly and efficient. in addition, the decor and ambiente was excellent. we all agreed that a return visit. not far away!
The most delicious Indian food I've had in Adelaide. Fantastic prices. Lovely staff. I go back here as often as I can. And they do take away. Go here. Support the business. Keep them around.
