I had their black cod bento box which also included tempura, sashimi and chawanmushi. I also ordered some sushi which was excellent. They feature a vast menu so you can dine from a simple bowl of noodles all the way up to an exquisite omakase meal. Service is very good as well. This would be a great choice for Japanese food when in Manila.
When I entered I felt that this seems to be an authentic Japanese restaurant. I asked the waitress about vegan food and she kindly arranged that non-vegan food were made into vegan. So I was happy with the service although the vegan food was quite limited. But my companions who ordered fish dishes seemed to be highly satisfied.
GIN-DARA set menu is No1 I think. Very nice fish taste. The fish taste better than my home great Japanese restaurant.
When coming to Manila I always visit this restaurant; this time I was slightly disappointed both by the service and the food. The restaurant was also not busy as usual which is maybe a sign that regular customers have already noticed a change in quality.
Good tasting Japanese food with pretty good service. It’s just a waste that green tea isn’t refillable. Food quality is quite above average.
