Kin Khao Thai Maynooth

This restaurant was nothing short of excellent. We had an amazing dinner with timely service and generous portions that left room for dessert if desired. Every dish was delicious, including the amuse-bouche. The staff checked on us regularly but not overly so. Our waitress had great knowledge of the menu and was able to answer our questions easily. We were able to make alterations to our order without any issues. The restaurant, though not on the main street, is definitely worth a visit. The cozy atmosphere, adorned with Thai newspaper cuttings on the walls, adds a homey touch without being tacky. The facilities were very clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be returning. I personally recommend the Pannacotta, but if you prefer a Thai dessert, the Panden cake is a must-try.

I am a huge fan of Thai cuisine and have sampled it in over 10 countries, so I consider myself a connoisseur of authentic Thai food. I was thrilled to discover Kin Khao in Maynooth, as we usually have to travel 20-40 minutes to enjoy Thai cuisine. Everything about this restaurant is outstanding and there is no competition in sight. When we visited after our daughter's swim on Saturday, we were warmly welcomed by John, who provided excellent service. John's passion for food and extensive knowledge were evident in his spot-on recommendations. Even our very picky 2.5-year-old daughter enjoyed the Pork Skewer starter, which is a testament to the quality of the food. All of our starters, mains, and desserts were exceptional, and we can't wait to return. Kin Khao has quickly become our favorite dining spot in Maynooth, alongside Chill Downtown. I highly recommend trying this restaurant to experience the true deliciousness of authentic Thai cuisine. There's no need for me to say more - just give it a try and indulge in the flavors of Kin Khao.

Really good decoration in the place and the service from the staff is top notch. Food is nice but maybe not worth the slightly expensive prices and the location is a little awkward if looking to mosey into a pub after.

Great decor inside and authentic feel with the pictures and writing. Great food, it's about 10-15min walk from town. Will definitely go back again.

This is the best Thai food I have had in years. They offer great regional dishes that are not your typical curry and pad Thai. The Lao curry was particularly exceptional.
