Beach House Grill - Mayodan

The Beach House offers the best hamburger within a 25-mile radius. Unlike some other places in the area, they don't serve frozen patties that are just heated up and served to customers.

I went for lunch yesterday and was not impressed. It was during the Hey Festival downtown, but despite the hype, we waited 50 minutes for food that was just mediocre.

Update from 8-19-22: We visited Beach House Grill again today, and they remembered us as soon as we walked in. There's nothing quite like the feeling of being treated like family. So I have to say...

We always go on Thursdays when the special is Chicken Salad sandwich. Its to die for. Every side we've had has been tops. Hand-made burgers that are huge. Never left the Beach House hungry. Lots of food for the money and a waitress who pays attention to the customers.

The food was awful, especially the wings, which were rubbery. If you'd like me to give it another chance, feel free to call me at 345 1662. Perhaps it was just a bad day for the chef.
