The Audubon And Event Venue - MAYVILLE

I hosted my wedding party and family at this hotel, and they truly exceeded my expectations. They kept the bar open for us and allowed us to use the entire hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Overall, they are fantastic people, and I highly recommend this venue for events or just a weekend getaway. This hotel has great potential, but it has not been executed well. The rooms are cheaply furnished and in poor condition. They were also very unclean, with greasy fingerprints on the TV, stained comforter, sheets, and carpet, as well as a dirty shower. While I could overlook the old furniture, the level of cleanliness in the rooms was unacceptable. Rating for the rooms: 1.

We had reserved a King Classic corner room on the 3rd floor, but what we found was far from the website imagery. The furniture was outdated and worn, and a small fridge was awkwardly placed on a luggage rack. Additionally, there were dead flies and bugs on the window sills, and the bathtub was so high that it felt like you’d need to pole vault to take a shower. Ultimately, we decided not to stay and, unfortunately, we did not receive a refund. I can only give this experience a rating of 1 for the rooms.

I am not one to write reviews or ask for refunds, but this was the most taco bell experience of a Luxury Queen room I have ever came across. None of the furniture, besides the bed, in the photos on Priceline OR their personal website are correct. In the first 5 minutes of us showing up, we found spiders and bugs by our headboard of the bed, and a couple in the shower. The expectation of what they presented, was not at all what was delivered at the end of the day for the price we paid. go to a normal hotel for the same price, this wont be at all what you thought and we got the Deluxe (classic) Queen Suite. This place was the worst. It wasn't open when we got there. The doors were locked and there was no one at the front desk. I called the after hours phone number and got no answer. We never stayed and they never refunded our money. Worst experience ever at a hotel. Service: 1 Location: 1
